HYDERABAD: Farm science conference

HYDERABAD, Nov 19: The Sindh Agriculture University is organizing a national conference on agricultural and veterinary sciences from November 23 to 25. The theme of the conference is "Sustainable agriculture: a roadmap to national development."

Over 200 participants from different institutes will attend the conference. Noted experts will present research papers on land resource management, veterinary sciences, integrated pest management, water resource management and poverty alleviation.

An agricultural exhibition will also be held for the participants and farmers to highlight developments in the field of agriculture and veterinary sciences. The Sindh ministers for agriculture and education, Arif Mustafa Jatoi and Dr Hameeda Khuhro, will be chief guest at the inaugural session and closing ceremony, respectively.
