Kamran, Aamer defy Multan

LAHORE, Dec 10: Resolute batting by Aamer Sajjad and Kamran Sajid helped Lahore Whites collect a respectable total of 209 for four in the first innings in reply to Multan's first innings total of 300 in Quaid-i-Azam Trophy at Multan Stadium, Multan on Friday.

Aamer was batting at 73 with 10 boundaries off 135 balls while Kamran Sajid hit 66 with five fours as Lahore Blues were well placed in a match in which the first innings lead will be significant, as the match is heading towards draw.

Multan were all out for 300 after resuming at 260 for eight in the morning. Saeed Anwar who began at 122 scored 142 with 23 boundaries.
