DADU, Dec 22: Four members of a family were killed after their car collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction on the Super Highway on Tuesday night.

The relatives of Khudabad union council nazim Mohammad Paryal Birhamani were coming to Dadu in a car. When they reached near police check-post-54, their car collided with a truck coming from Karachi.

As a result, Mr Birhamani's son, Irfan Ahmed, 22; daughter, Dr Nighat Sultana, 24; nephew, Aijaz Ahmed 25; and niece, Shabbiran, 26; died. The unidentified driver left the truck and escaped. The bodies were brought to native village of the deceased, Khudabad, Dadu taluka, in an Edhi ambulance.

DEMONSTRATION: Students of the Ustad Bukhari Degree College held a demonstration outside the press club on Tuesday in protest against the principal of the college, Ghulam Nabi Channo.

They alleged that the principal was charging double fee for admission and examination. Habib Korijo, Qayoom Channo, Sikandar Bhutto and Abdullah Bhand led the protesters. They demanded that the principal should be suspended. They also observed a token hunger strike outside the press club.
