RAWALPINDI, Jan 7: Faisalabad Wolves scored a three-wicket victory over Rawalpindi Rams on Friday in a low-scoring Pool A match of the One-Day cup.

Fast bowlers Shahid Nazir and Tauqir Hussain and off spinner Saeed Ajmal shared nine wickets as Wolves sent Rams crashing to 96 all out after winning the toss.

Rawalpindi batsmen could not cope with the rival attack and lost four wickets at the score of 46. Only Bilal Asad and Yasir Arafat could get into double figures. What appeared to be an easy target all of a sudden began to look tall for the Wolves who were quickly cut down to three for 17 by paceman Yasir Arafat.

Only a fourth-wicket stand of 54 runs off 65 balls between Misbahul Haq (35) and Tauqir Hussain (30) saved the day for Wolves.
