LARKANA, Jan 10: An eight-year-old primary student was killed after having been criminally assaulted by some people in the Badah town on Monday.

The boy, had been kidnapped from the Noonari locality of the town in the morning when he had come out of his house. His parents searched for him but could not find him.

After assaulting the boy, the criminals killed him. They put his body in a sack and threw it in the store-room of the house of one Gullan Noonari. In the evening, some children saw the feet of the boy hanging out from the sack. Police were called who recovered the body.

Sources said signs of torture were visible on the neck of the boy. Police said pieces of clothes were recovered from the mouth of the boy. They said the medical officer, who performed the autopsy, had confirmed that the boy had been criminally assaulted.

No FIR was registered till the filing of this report. However, police arrested two suspects, Riaz Hussain Noonari and Mohammad Ramzan Noonari, who live close to the boy's house.
