GUJRAT, Jan 13: Qul of Chaudhry Manzoor Elahi, the father of Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, was held in Zahoor Elahi House here on Thursday. Thousands of people from all walks of life attended the Qul.
Those prominent among them were: ex-premiers Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, ex-caretaker premier Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi, ex-COAS Mirza Aslam Baig, Balochistan chief minister Jam Muhammad Yousaf and Governor Awais Ahmad Ghani, JI leader Liaquat Baloch, Justice Khalilur Rahman, federal ministers Naseer Khan, Sumaira Malik and Liaquat Jatoi, NA deputy speaker Sardar Shaukat Mazari, senator Akram Zaki, MPAs Amir Sultan Cheema, Akhtar Ali Rizvi, Mian Muhammad Aslam, Raja Basharat, Ashfa Riaz Fatiana and Qudsia Lodhi, Maria Tariq and MNAs Dr Atiya Inayatullah and Wajahat Hussain, PM's advisor Nilofar Bakhtiar and district Nazim Chaudhry Shafaat Hussain.
