Rockets land in Quetta, Sibi, Dhadar

QUETTA, Jan 26: Three rockets were fired on Wednesday night in Quetta, Sibi and Dhadar from unknown locations, but no loss of life or damage to property was reported.

Police sources in Quetta confirmed that unidentified persons had fired a rocket at 10:20pm, which landed in Askari Park on the airport road run by the cantonment board, Quetta.

Another rocket was fired in Sibi, and DPO Gul Khan Sasoli told Dawn by telephone that a police party was searching the area to find out the actual place, but they were facing difficulty due to darkness.

The third rocket was fired in Dhadar area, the headquarters of Bolan district. Police official told this reporter by telephone that they had failed to locate the actual place due to darkness.
