Judo team for Indore

LAHORE, Feb 22: The Pakistan judo team will leave for India on Wednesday to take part in the South Asian championship to be held at Indore on Feb 27 and 28.

Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) secretary Mahmood Naveed said that the team would go to India by bus (Lahore-Delhi).

The squad included seven players, two officials and two referees judges. The secretary said that besides India and Pakistan the other countries taking part were Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

He said that the besides the competition, there would also be an examination for referees and judges. From Pakistan Shahid Javed Malik and Muhammad Younis would attend it.
