PHF Academies trials from Saturday

KARACHI, Feb 25: Two-day trials to select Sindh under 14 probables for Pakistan Hockey Federation's (PHF) Academies will commence at five centres of the province from Saturday, PHF spokesman said on Friday.

Besides, at Hockey club of Pakistan Stadium, trials will be held in Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and Larkana. Former Olympian Hasan Sardar will supervise the trials at Karachi. Aslam Khan Niazi will be heading the committee in Hyderabad.

Masroor Baig will be responsible for trials in Mirpurkhas, Abdullah Talat Ali (Sukkur) and Akber Qaimkhani at Larkana. Probables selected after the first phase of trials will appear in the final rounds of trials at HCP to be held on March 16-17. -APP
