QUETTA, March 25: The Chief of Jamhoori Watan Party, Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, has condemned the kidnapping and manhandling of National Party President Dr Hayee and two other leaders of his party. In a statement issued here on Friday, he said the JWP and its leadership was jointly struggling with the National Party and would take up this issue at all foras, including four parties’ Baloch alliance. He also deplored the Gwadar incident and said that it was not a new thing happening with people of Balochistan.

“They have been facing such an attitude of the government for the last 57 years,” Nawab Bugti said and added that rulers considered the people of Balochistan salves and treated them in the same way.

He expressed solidarity with the people Gwadar and assured all help and cooperation in their struggle against atrocities committing by federal government law-enforcement agencies. He urged the people of Gwadar to unite and play their role in protecting the coastline.
