KOHAT: Kohat Bar polls held

KOHAT, Jan 3: Office-bearers of the Kohat Bar Association were elected after voting was held on Saturday. Shujauddin Wasti was elected to the post of the Bar's president after defeating his rival Saifullah Khan by two votes. This is his second consecutive win in this connection.

Asif Bangash secured 127 votes was elected as the Bar's general-secretary defeating Hamid Sarfaraz, who bagged 33 votes.

GRENADE ATTACK: A house was damaged on Friday night after unidentified assailants hurled a grenade in the Togh Bola town, police officials said.

No one was reported to have been injured in the attack.

The blast damaged the boundary wall of the house, which the police said belonged to one Jan Mohammad, a resident of the Khyber Agency.

The Saddar police have registered a case against unidentified accused.
