DADU, Feb 5: Four people were killed and 21 others injured in two separate road accidents on Thursday. Eight people of Roonjho village were on their way to Manjhand in a tonga when a coach (JA-8940) coming from Hyderabad hit it , killing Ali Shir, son of Hussain, and Jamal, son of Suleman, on the spot. Imam Bux, Noor Mohammad, Mumtaz, Urs and others were injured.

The Manjhand police registered a case against the coach driver.

In another incident, a half-body truck fell into a pond after its tie-rod broke as a result of which Hajan, son of Saaeen Dino Khaskheli, and Ghulab, son of Punhal Solangi, died on the spot.

The injured - Hurmat Solangi, Abdul Nabi, Ali Nawaz, Ramzan, Ameen and others - were admitted to the Mehar taluka hospital.

CM: The Sindh chief minister has taken notice of non-recovery of 20 buffaloes of a villager, Mohammad Ramzan Jahejo, which were robbed by armed men in Jaheja village on May 28, 2001.

Jahejo submitted an application to the chief minister on Thursday in this regard on which he directed the Dadu DPO through a letter to immediately recover the buffaloes.
