SUKKUR, July 3: The Sindh High Court, Sukkur circuit bench, on Friday declared unlawful the no-confidence motion against Thari Mirwah Taluka Nazim Ali Gul Bozdar. The motion was adopted on June 24 this year.

The single bench of the Sindh High Court comprising Justice Zawar Hussain Shah also suspended the election of acting Nazim Mohammad Bux Dasti.

Mr Bozdar had filed a constitutional petition in the court through his lawyer, Imdad Awan.

The court had ordered the election commission and the Sindh election authority not to issue any notification against the Thari Mirwah Taluka Nazim Ali Gul Bozdar till the hearing was completed.

Talking to the newsmen, Mr Bozdar said that the naib nazim had no power to issue any notification of his removal.

He said that he was not involved in any corruption nor he had given contracts to his men.
