KASUR: Two brothers killed

KASUR, Oct 24: Two brothers were shot dead allegedly by six rivals over a land dispute in Thati Hindoan village, Kanganpur, here on Sunday.

Tufail and Jan Mohammad were working in their fields when Arshad along with five accomplices came there and forced them to leave the land.

Following an exchange of hot words over the issue, the accused opened indiscriminate fire. Tufail died on the spot, while Jan Mohammad sustained serious bullets injuries and was taken to the THQ Hospital, Chunian. He was being taken to a Lahore hospital when he died. Kanganpur police are looking into the matter.
