GUJRAT, Nov 4: The pay officer and a clerk of the pay branch of police department exchanged blows in their office on the district courts premises on Thursday.

Eyewitnesses claimed that pay officer Chaudhry Azam and clerk Asghar came to blows following an exchange of harsh words and abusive language.

The only reason behind the clash was said to be harsh attitude of the officer towards subordinates, sources said.

Head of the pay branch and other employees denied about happening any such incident in the office.
