HYDERABAD: APC planned

HYDERABAD, Nov 20: A sub-committee of the Anti-Greater Thal Canal Action Committee, at a meeting held here on Monday, finalised programme for holding an all parties' conference on the water issue in Karachi on December 5.

The meeting was presided over by Abrar Qazi, general secretary of the Sindh Water Committee, and attended by People's Party Parliamentarians leader Shah Mohammad Shah, Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party leader Haider Shahani, Awami Tehrik leader Nazeer Shaikh, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Afzal Gujjar and others.

The president of the Pakistan Oppressed Nations' Movement Sardar Attaullah Mangle, Awami National Party chief Asfandyar Wali, Pushtoon Khwa Milli Awami Party chairman Mehmood Khan Achakai, Jhamoori Watan Party chief Nawab Akbar Bugti, National Party leader Dr Abdul Hayee Baloch, Hameed Asghar Shaheen and nationalist leaders of Sindh would speak at the conference.
