SWABI, Jan 29: The administration of the district headquarters hospital has failed to recover the anaesthesia machine, which was stolen from the operation theatre three weeks ago.

The hospital management has not registered a case with the police despite the passage of three weeks.

Sources said that the involvement of the hospital staff could not be ruled out. If the management failed, the sources said, the inclusion of the hospital staff in the case is likely as police officials have already decided in this connection. District naib nazim Liaqat Ahmad Khan held a meeting with council members on the issue two days ago, demanding prompt action and arrest of those involved in the theft of the machine.
