HYDERABAD, April 28: An Educational and Cultural Programme-2005 started at the University of Sindh’s Elsa Kazi campus here on Thursday. The faculty of education of the university has organized the programme which was inaugurated by the dean of the faculty, Prof Asif Ali Kazi.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Kazi said educational programmes were a part of training for students to learn discipline and show their creative skills.

He observed that school and college teachers studying in B.Ed and M.Ed had creative minds. He expressed the hope that after completion of education, the teachers would perform well in their respective areas.

Prof Kazi said the education faculty had provided all facilities and opportunities to trainee students for promotion of their talents and skills. He said through practical experiences, students were learning a lot in various disciplines of the faculty of education.

In the first session, a students’ quiz competition was held. Five teams, comprising boy and girl students of B.Ed and M.Ed, participated in the competition.
