KARACHI, Oct 14: Trailing behind 28-32 at interval, Bounce Club stormed back to beat fighting Neighbourhood United Varsity 74-65 in the nerve tingling final to win the Neighbourhood United Ramazan basketball tournament at Arambagh floodlight court Friday night.

It turned out to be the best match of the week long competition and kept the spectators on their feet.

Bounce Club (Kashmir Road) coached by M. Raza Agha enjoyed an edge over their opponents in the first quarter taking 15-11 lead. However, they could muster only 13 points in the next quarter as against 21 scored by their rivals who took a slender four points lead.

Bounce went 45-44 up in the third quarter and from then onwards they never looked back and rounded off by winning the last quarter 29-21.

Ovais and Samir finished head and shoulder above the rest scoring 21 and 20 points for the winners. Hassan and Lawrence scored 10 and nine points.

Shakir and Ehtisham were outstanding for Neighbourhood contributing 17 and 13 points.
