MARDAN, Nov 29: Lawyers of Mardan Bar Association (MBA) ended its week-long boycott of the senior civil judge, when additional district and session judge, Salim Jan, used his good offices for reconciliation, here on Thursday.

The lawyers of the MBA boycotted the office of the senior civil judge, Syed Kamal Hussain, when he not only vacated a four years stay against a department of Wapda but also dismissed the case on Thursday last.

The Wapda department filed a case against the MBA in the senior civil judge court on arrears of electricity bill, which the lawyers obtained a stay in 1996.
