KHAIRPUR: Power outage resented

Published April 5, 2002

KHAIRPUR, April 4: A large number of residents of Hussainabad, Khanan goth, Sohu deh, Mithri, Lanishan and other villages of Kot Diji taluka staged a demonstration outside the press club here on Thursday against the apathy of the Hesco officials.

They complained that although the officials of the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company suspended electricity for about ten days of a month, while during the remaining 20 days, load shedding continued for several hours in a day, inflated bills were sent to them.
