SANGHAR, May 5: A young man was killed and his brother was injured due to electrocution in Rasheedabad Colony of Tando Adam on Saturday.

Irfan Illahi 20, with his brother, Ihsan Illahi, 18, was repairing the walls on the rooftop of his newly-constructed house when he incidentally touched an 11,000-KV live electric, wire which was passing barely two feet above the rooftop.

Due to the electric shock, Irfan died on the spot, while his brother received severe electric shocks and fell unconscious. He was taken to a hospital.

FUNDS: Zila Nazim Roshan Din Junejo has been accused of using various tactics, including freezing development funds, to force the members of the Jamat-i-Islami to join the Junejo group.

The accusation was made by the Nazim of UC-II, Tando Adam, Masroor Ahsan Ghouri, who belongs to the Jamat-i-Islami’s Al-Fallah Group.

Talking to newsmen, Mr Ghouri said the Zila Nazim had halted work on various development schemes. He added that the Nazim had abused them when they demanded their share in the development funds.
