HYDERABAD, June 9 (APP) Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has called upon the business community of Hyderabad to prepare a five year plan in collaboration with elected representatives of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). The proposal is aimed at catalysing trade and industrial development in the district.

Speaking to a delegation from the Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Chief Minister said that the government was fully committed to strengthening the economy of Hyderabad and overcoming the issue of unemployment. The present government is keen to establish industries in every part of the country so as to overcome the economic crunch, he continued.

The Chief Minister said that the government has provided land to entrepreneurs for the establishment of industrial units while 300 acres of land has also been acquired for the extension of Hyderabad SITE. Qaim also stressed the importance of establishing small and medium size industrial units instead of mega projects.
