HYDERABAD With a surge in the temperature, cases of malaria, typhoid, diarrhoea, sunstroke and others diseases are on the rise in Hyderabad, said Dr. Salma Shakih, Paediatrics Department Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences.
Talking to APP here on Monday, she said poor provision for potable water, poor sanitation and lack of hygiene were aggravating the health situation for both adults and children. She said diseases could, however, be prevented and advised people to consume boiled water and freshly cooked food with due care towards personal hygiene.
