KARACHI, Nov 29 In the two NBP Junior Hockey Cup matches played at the Hockey Club of Pakistan on Saturday, PIA crushed Sindh 20-0 while KESC beat Balochistan 9-0.

The first match saw right-in Zubair Ahmed getting a triple hat-trick (9th, 11th, 13th, 30th, 49th, 51st, 53rd, 57th and 58th mins) while left-in Imran Malik (14th, 16th and 38th mins) and Zohair Ahmed (43rd, 50th and 54th mins) got a hat-trick each.

Zohair scored all three goals on penalty-corners.

Meanwhile, forward Hasan Akhtar (6th min), left-half Adnan Javed (65th min), centre-forward Shafqat Rasool (25th min), right-half Amir Shahzad (35th min) and centre-half Mohammad Akbar (70th) scored one each.

In the KESC-Balochistan encounter, centre-forward Amir Iqbal scored three goals (3rd, 31st and 39th mins) right-in Ali Mehdi scored two (13th and 19th mins) and left-out Irfan Khan (37th min), right-half Irfan Ahmed (43rd), centre-half Shahbaz (51st min) and fullback Abrar Ahmed (69th min) got one each.

Four matches will be played on Sunday.

Sunday`s fixtures Punjab vs Sindh at 10.00am; Balochistan v Karachi at 12.00pm; PIA vs NBP at 2.00pm; HBL vs KESC at 4.00pm. All matches will be played at the Hockey Club of Pakistan.
