HYDERABAD, Jan 1 The All-Sindh Universities Employees Federation has criticised what it called `stepmotherly treatment` being meted out to the universities in interior Sindh and said that the employees of the universities were denied facilities available to their counterparts in Karachi and other universities of the country.

The federation`s general body meeting held at the Sindh Agriculture University campus on Wednesday discussed problems being faced by the universities of interior Sindh and their employees and demanded that their budget should be restored.

The chairman of the federation Raza Mohammad Durrani and other office-bearers said that the universities employees were denied health facilities, promotions and families of retired and all financial assistance available to the employees of other universities.
