KARACHI, Jan 2 Mustafa Zaidi and Basit Gabol survived a scare against their respective opponents on way to reaching the next round in men`s singles of the Sindh ranking tennis championship at the Southend Club courts on Friday.
Mustafa, after conceding the opener struggled to carve out a 6-7, 6-3, 6-1 victory over Omer Shahid Maniya while Basit sweat for over three hours to post 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 victory over Abdullah Khan.
