HYDERABAD, Jan 13 The 14th death anniversary of six Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party activists was observed at Taraqqi Passand House here on Tuesday.

Sahib Khan Chandio, Riaz Rind, Abdul Aziz Jatoi, Pir Fazal Wahab Sarhandi, Iqbal Vighio and Aurangzeb Mughal were reportedly killed in a fake police encounter in Karachi.

The STP Chairman Dr Qadir Magsi paying tributes to them said that the heroes sacrificed their lives for the cause of Sindh. He said that they had challenged terrorism in the lanes and streets of Hyderabad and added that it was due to their struggle that the Sindhi people in Karachi and Hyderabad were living with honour.

He alleged that they had fallen pray to state terrorism and were martyrs of not only the STP but of the entire Sindhi nation. Only those nations live with dignity and honour who remember their heroes and martyrs, said Mr Magsi.

He said their blood will not go in vain and the party will keep fighting for the rights of Sindh till the last drop. The party was the heir of all martyrs of Sindh, Magsi said and it will follow in the footsteps of their heroes.
