KARACHI, Jan 27 Thirty-two players from across the country will vie for honours when the National Juniors Snooker Championship gets into action at the Karachi Club from Feb 22.

Ayaz Khan handed 5-1 defeat to Ahsan Javed in the all-Punjab final to land the crown last year. The championship was revived in 2008 after a decade`s layoff.

All the four provinces will be represented by eight cueists apiece in the weeklong event which concludes on Feb 28.

Meanwhile, the Sindh Juniors Cup begins at Aly`s Snooker Parlour from Jan 31. This will form criteria for the selection of top eight for the national juniors` event.
