KARACHI, Feb 14 Umer Saleem handed out a stunning 3-2 defeat to Vishan Gir in the action packed final to win his maiden Karachi Club handicap snooker title at the KC premises on Saturday.

Umer, a former runner up, took three-and-a-half hours to register 44-105, 89-61, 60-47, 46-88, 77-75 victory over his opponent.

The winner received a purse of Rs8,000 and trophy from the chief guest President KC Jameel Sakrani. The runner up was awarded Rs5,000 and trophy. Cash prizes of Rs27,000 were distributed among players.
