JHANG At least four passengers were killed and 12 others injured, four among them critically, in a collision between a van and a train on Tuesday, police said.

According to police sources, a van (LR-3443) collided with a train coming from Sargodha to Shorkot via Jhang at the Open Crossing Point.

Out of the four dead, two were identified as Mahmmad Bakhsh and Shaukat, while the injured persons were shifted to DHQ Hospital Jhang.

On receiving information of the incident, District Coordination Officer (DCO) Jhang rushed to the hospital and inquired after the injured and directed the doctors and paramedical staff to provide them with utmost medical attention.
