ATTOCK, April 11 District Police officer Fakhar Sultan Raja on Saturday issued show-cause notices to the Station House officers (SHOs) Attock city and Attock Khurd Police stations for their failure to arrest outlaws and Proclaimed Offenders (POs).

The district police headquarter in a press release said here on Saturday that the show-cause notices were issued at monthly meeting held to review the crime and law and order situation during March.

The meeting was chaired by District Police Officer Fakhar Sultan Raja and attended by the all Sub divisional Police officer (SDPOs) of six police circles and SHOs of 14 police stations.

The performance of Attock saddar Police station was also found average and the SHOs of three police stations in Saddar area were directed to improve their performance.

Show-cause notices were also served on the former SHO Hasanabdal Saddar Police station Inspector Muhammad Arif and asked the present SHO to show efficiency in the working, it said.

Moreover, the meeting directed the SHOs of FatehJang, New airport, Bahtar, Basal and Injra, Jand and Pindigheb to improve their performance, besides instructing the SDPOs of FatehJang and Pindigheb Police circle to keep proper administrative supervision over the performance of Police stations and expedite the investigations particularly in murder cases.
