DADU, April 12 Sindh National Front chairman Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has said that the rulers have failed to fulfil the promises made to the people.
It was due to wrong policies of the rulers that the poor were committing suicides, he said at a public gathering near the shrine of Sufi Lal Qalandar Shahbaz in Sehwan on Saturday evening. Poverty had increased so much that the poor were selling their children, he said.
Mumtaz Bhutto said northern part of Sindh had become the centre of crime and in upper Sindh people were feeling unsafe in their homes due to deteriorating law and order.
He described politicians as corrupt and said the government had failed to control law and order, adding that he (Mumtaz) had been receiving death threats daily. But he vowed to continue his struggle for Sindh and its people till his last breath.
He announced that such public gatherings would also be organised at the shrines of Hazrat Sachal Sarmast and Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai.
He said Z.A Bhutto had followed visionary and real politics that prospered the nation and developed the country.
