HYDERABAD, April 16 Enforcement of Nizam-i-Adl Regulation is not only a violation of fundamental human rights but tantamount to legalising terrorism in the name of religion, said Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party Chairman Dr Qadir Magsi.

A particular group cannot enforce their decisions on masses in the garb of justice, he said. A parallel justice system was the result of mocking the independence of judiciary for last 60 years, he said.

He criticized the government for surrendering before a group of fundamentalists at the cost of more 160 million people of the country.

Enforcement of the so-called Nizam-i-Adl indicates the future problems of people would remain unresolved in a civilised society he said while warning the government not to surrender before it as it would create anarchy and strengthen the evil designs of terrorists.

Our Nawabshah correspondent adds The Jafria Alliance, Nawabshah, has condemned the implementation of Nizam-i-Adl Regulation in Malakand division, NWFP, and demanded its immediate withdrawal.

Speaking to journalists, alliance`s local chapter President Syed Afzaal Zaidi said the regulation was not only against the Constitution, but also against Islamic teachings.

He said the government had made the decision under sever pressure and it would affect the basic rights of people in Malakand as well as other parts of country. He said that if the extremism travelling in Pakistan through Afghanistan was not stopped immediately, sovereignty of the country would be in great trouble.
