DADU, April 22 Police arrested 10 activists and supporters of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid on Wednesday and conducted raids to arrest more in the wake of protests against registration of a case against former federal minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi at Khairpur Nathan Shah police station.

Three separate FIRs were registered against 335 activists and supporters of Jatoi brothers, including two union council nazims and six naib nazims of Dadu Ittehad Panel at Mehar, Khairpur Nathan Shah and Thariri Mohbat police stations.

Liaquat Ali Jatoi said that police had registered the fake FIRs at the instigation of local MPAs and MNA in Mehar and Khairpur Nathan Shah taluka.

He said that police were torturing the activists to force them to change loyalty.
