HYDERABAD, April 29 University of Sindh Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Rafia Ahmed Shaikh while urging the students to interact on national and international level also called for tolerance and harmony on ethnic, religious and gender issues.

She was speaking at a seminar on “Youth in peace building” organised by the Faculty of Social Sciences in collaboration with an NGO, Bargad, at the Faculty of Arts Building on Tuesday.

Dr Shaikh emphasized on providing maximum benefits of the university to youths along with able guidance of teachers.

Dean, Faculty of Science, Prof Dr Iqbal Ahmed Panhwar highlighting the importance of conceptual and operational domain of youth in peace making said that Pakistan had the highest ratio of youth population i.e., 1629.
