NAWABSHAH, May 2 MNA Faryal Talpur, sister of President Asif Ali Zardari, has said that Benazir Bhutto had been assassinated under an international conspiracy and an ordinary SHO could not investigate her case.

Talking to journalists during her visit to the press club on Saturday, she said that the United Nations was requested to conduct a detailed investigation into the murder and the world body's team had recently visited Pakistan in this regard.

She said that investigations would be conducted on a wider scale and truth would be brought before the world.

The government was working hard to redress people's grievances, she said and added that it was the party's mission to eliminate poverty, lawlessness and joblessness from the country.

She said that the government was providing maximum jobs to the youth and attributed delay to merit and legal procedures.

She said that she was keeping an eye on the development works being carried out by works and services department and would not tolerate negligence.

She said that many development projects had been prepared for Shaheed Benazirabad district including a cadet college and anti-snake vaccination centre.

She said that more than 3,500 jobs including 1,000 in police department had already been given to the youth of Shaheed Benazirabad district.

To a question about MQM's demand for removal of CCPO and PPO Sindh, she said that she was a member of the National Assembly and the matter pertained to Sindh government but she hoped that it would be solved amicably.

She said that the project for construction of bridge on the River Indus between Shaheed Benazirabad and Dadu districts at Qazi Ahmed had been delayed by technical problems and its new feasibility would be kept in the next budget.

She said that she would take up the matter of including names of newspapers in railway concession list.

The MNA announced a journalists colony for the members of the press club.
