CHITRAL, May 7 Members of the district council have demanded of the government to establish checkposts of district border force and Chitral police at all the seven passes of the Sheshi Koh valley, which connect Chitral with troubled Swat and Dir districts.

A resolution to this effect was presented in a session of the council by Sohrab Khan, nazim union council Sheshi Koh, that the valley was very sensitive having borders with Swat, Dir and Afghanistan.

The resolution demanded restoration of the district border force checkpost and equipping the force with sophisticated arms to check the infiltrators effectively.
