KUANTAN, May 14 The manager of Bangladesh hockey team Anvir Adil Khan said on Thursday that his team was ready to visit Pakistan if invited officially by their national federation.
“Pakistan is a leading hockey nation in the world and it would be a great honour to undertake such a tour,” he told newsmen at Kuantan Hockey Stadium after his team's 11-1 thrashing at the hands of India in the classification match.
“We are not bothered about the security because almost a similar situation exists in the entire Asian continent,” said Anvir, who represented Bangladesh in 1982's inaugural Asia Cup as goalkeeper. —APP
