LAHORE, May 18 The second phase of Pakistan hockey team's training camp for the Junior World Cup will begin at the National Hockey Stadium here from Tuesday.

On the first day, 26 selected players will report to camp commandant Khawaja Mohammad Junaid, while training sessions will begin from Wednesday.

The national selection committee will hold trials on Friday to select final squad for the mega event, which will be played in Malaysia and Singapore from June 7 to 21.

Six junior players who recently represented Pakistan senior team in the Asia Cup will also join the camp. They are Shafqat Rasool, Haseem Khan, Fareed Ahmed, Waqas Sharif, Abbas Haider and Mohammad Irfan.

Former Olympian goalkeeper Ahmad Alam and Danish Kaleem are assistant coaches while Dr Asad Abbas Shah is the team doctor.
