He said the entire nation stood united against terrorism, militancy and extremism in such testing hours. He claimed that the image of Pakistan had been improved around the world due to government's anti-terror strategies.
He said the government would help the internally displaced persons (IDPs) settle in their areas after the operation.
He said the government had completed the registration of IDPs and UN agencies had confirmed that more than 1.9 million people had been displaced due to the military operation.
He said donations were being received for IDPs and the major contribution had been made by the US.
He said besides extremism, the country was facing economic, political and social challenges and there was a need to adopt a long term policy to overcome these problems.
