LAHORE, June 27 A 17-member Pakistan hockey squad left here for England to play a series of three Test matches, starting from Tuesday.
The 18th member of the squad, Sajjad Anwar, did not accompany the squad as he could not get the visa.
He is likely to leave for England on Tuesday and will not be available for the first Test.
A spokesman of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) said the visa would hopefully be received on Monday.
Meanwhile, Pakistan coach Shahid Ali Khan said the tour would help junior players learn and find places in the senior side.
He said the squad was balanced and capable of defeating Great Britain.
Moreover, Pakistan captain Zeeshan Ashraf said they would play attacking hockey against Britain.
The tour is part of the preparations for the World Cup qualifiers to be held in November.
