KARACHI, July 13: A large number of special children enjoyed a film, Jurassic Park III, at a show organized specially for them on Saturday morning.

The show was organized by noted artist and social worker Jimmy Engineer and Sada Foundation at Star Cinema which along with Nishat Cinema has agreed to hold free film shows for children at least once a month.

Children who viewed the film belonged to the Fatimid Education Centre, Darul Sukoon, Garage School, St Francis church School and the Behria Karsaz Special Children School. A large number of street children also saw the film that is an all-time favourite of kids all around the globe.

The sound of the clapping, cries of joy and laughter with regular intervals proved that these youngsters were not different from their normal counterparts and they also liked the film that is liked by children all over the world.

Speaking on the occasion the social worker said that he had been organizing food, music and entertainment programmes for the handicapped children

so that they also had fun like their normal counterparts as these handicapped children were usually denied of any fun activities.

Jimmy said he had noticed that handicapped children liked the musical parts of programmes more than the other components, so he had thought of arranging film shows for them and when he discussed the idea with the friends in the entertainment business, Nishat and Star cinemas volunteered immediately. After that the Mandiviwalla Entertainments was also approached and it agreed to provide the films.

He said now every month a film show would be held regularly, besides the regular fun and food programmes for handicapped children would continue to be held as usual.

He said he was organizing these programmes so that these children had some fun.
