KARACHI, July 22 Sixth seed Inam-ur-Rehman's chances of making it to the knockout quarter-finals became bleak when he tasted third defeat in five matches of the National Ranking Snooker Cup at Karachi Gymkhana on Wednesday.

With two defeats already under his belt at the hands of Bahadur Baloch and Saqib Butt, he went down 2-4 to Sindh's Qasim Kamani in group 'C'. The latter was home 81-0, 17-78, 61-15, 33-63, 61-11, 76-15.

The top seed Mohammad Sajjad and second seed Raees Khan continued their unbeaten run registering fifth straight victories. The former outplayed Imran Shehzad 4-0 (61-31, 59-32, 73-13, 66-9) while the latter got the better of Sultan Mohammad 4-1 the score being 77-42, 16-63, 67-24, 63-9, 52-37.
