KARACHI, July 25 Pakistans two top junior cueists Asjad Iqbal and Hamza Akber will represent the country in the IBSF World Under-21 Snooker Championship being staged at Tehran, Iran, from August 3 to 14, a spokesman of the Pakistan Billiards Snooker Association (PBSA) said on Saturday.

Players representing over 30 nations are expected to take part in the competition.

PBSA officials are trying to secure a sponsorship for Pakistan Sports Board in order to send the team to Iran.

Qualified referee Shabbir Daruwala has been invited to supervise the tournament matches. —APP
