Transvestites form body in Khairpur

KHAIRPUR The All Pakistan Eunuchs Welfare Association was formed at a convention of eunuchs at a hotel here on Monday night.

Eunuchs of Sukkur, Khairpur, Ranipur, Kumb and Kotdiji attended the convention which was presided over by Karim alias Mahnoor.

Speaking on the occasion, Karim said that they would launch a struggle for the rights of eunuchs after getting the association registered. He said that eunuchs should be given respect and rights.

Organisers of the association for different districts and areas of Sindh were nominated at the convention. Chandni was nominated as organiser for Khairpur district, Nisar alias Nagi for Kotdiji, Hameed Diwani for Kumb, Mastano Mirbahar for Ranipur and Sultana for Sukkur.

Later, the eunuchs presented tableaux, dance and folk songs in their typical style. The convention continued till late night.
