GUJAR KHAN, Oct 1 Jhelum will soon get a central control room linked with CCTV cameras installed at entry and exit points of the city to ensure security against robberies and auto-theft, said Regional Police Officer Mohammad Aslam Tareen at a media briefing in Jhelum on Wednesday.

He said District Officer Dr Mohammad Azam along with traders, moneychangers, bankers and jewellers would arrange a network of CCTV cameras.

The RPO lauded the cooperation extended from the traders and bankers, adding it was must for effective policing against crime as well as terrorism.

Mr Tareen directed the police to improve their behaviour towards public.
