LAHORE, Oct 7 Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday suspended from service complaint cell directors Shahid Qadir and Irfan Yousuf on the recommendation of an inquiry committee.

Shahid Qadir was suspended for making scenes in front of TV channels when singer Humaira Arshad visited the cell.

Reportedly, the singer's complaint was filed with Mr Qadir, one of the directors at the cell. When she visited the venue, Irfan Yousaf, another director, received her and took her to his office as the media followed them.

Learning about her arrival, Mr Qadir argued with Mr Yousaf on who would entertain Ms Arshad's complaint.

Taking notice of the incident, senior officials probed into the incident and suspended Mr Qadir directing him to report to his parent department, Seed Corporation.
