Chitral festival on Aug 11

CHITRAL, July 27: A four-day fair, Chitral Mela, will be held to celebrate the event of the proposed inauguration ceremony of Lowari Tunnel by the President Musharraf.

The Chitral Association for Mountain Areas Tourism (CAMAT) in collaboration of the other organizations has chalked out a programme for the festival.

In a joint meeting of CAMAT, the District Council, Chitral police, Chitral scouts, international organizations and NGOs here on Friday it was decided to make the event memorable.—Correspondent
