LAHORE, Dec 10 Three more matches were decided in the preliminary round as the line up for the final round of the 25th National Women's Hockey Championship was finalised at the National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.

The final round begins from Friday for which Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Wapda , Railways, Karachi and Sukkur have qualified.

Two teams from Quetta, and one each from Islamabad and NWFP entered the final round directly.On the last day of preliminary round Railways, Sukkur and Rangers won their respective matches.

Last year's runner-up Railways beat defending champion Wapda 1-0.

The solitary goal was scored by Hina Kanwal in the 38th minute off a penalty-corner after a barren first half. .

Sukkur beat Hyderabad 4-1. At half time the score was 3-0. Zakia Gul scored two for the winners in the 17th and 44th minute, while Mona Omer and Zara added one goal each in the 3rd and 10th minute. The consolation goal from Hyderabad came through Uzma in 55th minute.

Rangers beat Pakistan Board 2-0. Half time the score was 1-0. Shaehla and Naheed struck goals in 34th and 47th minutes.—Sports Reporter
